A comprehensive gazetteer includes all known surviving stained glass before 1700 and illustrates important glass in more than 100 churches, including rare late thirteenth-century panels of medallions at Madley, stunning images of the Virgin and Child and Archangels at Eaton Bishop and the magnificent assemblage of fourteenth- and fifteenth-century glass at Ludlow.
